Over the past couple of years I have been greatly influenced by the UK magazine, Practical Web Design, which has now merged with its sister publication .net (still PWD in the US). I have also been impressed with the designs and dedication to web standards of the UK web developers.

So I decided to expand my little site and give it a global reach. Amazon offers an associates program in the Amazon.co.uk store so I applied. My goal is to make it easy for the UK developers I may cross paths with to be able to purchase books, magazines, and software in their native currency. While you can always shop at Amazon directly I hope this blog and other content we add here will be incentive to shop with us. Some products we promote may not be available through either Amazon US or UK.
