Top 5 Reads of Web Developers - blog meme
Wednesday, May 16th, 2007In order to boost the awareness, traffic, and participation at WebDevelopersBookstore.com, I would like to pose a few questions to those of you who call yourselves web developers, designers, educators, or online marketers. I would love it if some of the authors whose books and blogs we all read would answer this meme. If you do answer in your blog, leave a trackback or comment below.
Q1. Have you written a book or magazine article?
Q2. What are your top 5 favorite web design/development books you have read
Q3. Which one(s) inspired you the most or changed your way of thinking.
My Answers:
Q1 - Have you written a book or magazine article?
A. Yes, I have written articles for photography magazines and websites. Never published a book.
Q2 - top 5 books:
- Transcending CSS:
- The Zen of CSS Design:
- Dreamweaver 8: The Missing Manual
- New Masters of Flash (WITH CD-ROM)
- HTML Goodies (2nd Edition)
Q3 - Most inspirational books
HTML Goodies was by bible in the late 90’s. CSS Zen was the book that opened my eyes what could be done with CSS and creative images. Transcending CSS is the book that made me think beyond using CSS to replace tables and to think more creatively.
